The Goverment Polytechnic Bhalaswagaj provides advice and assistance to its students in getting suitable placements in the industry and organises regularly the career counselling programmes for its students to help them to choose among the best organisations & opportunities.

The institute has a well-organized placement cell headed by a Placement Incharge. The responsibility of the placement cell is to assist the passing out students in finding suitable employment. It also assists the students in getting apprenticeship training.
